Our Services: CIEHF accredited DSE Assessor Training
Our 1 day CIEHF accredited DSE Assessor training course provides attendees with the skills and knowledge needed to carry out basic DSE risk assessments, as and when required. It is also suitable for anyone who has an interest in (or responsibility for) staff and their welfare, including line managers, safety, HR, facilities, and healthcare professionals.
This course has been accredited by the prestigious Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors, independently assessed and approved by their Education & Training Panel (a sub-committee of the Professional Affairs Board) - our certification is available to view here. Acreditation amounts to an additional assurance that the course is of high quality, and delivered by teaching staff with suitable and sufficient qualifications and experience. Attendees who successfully complete the course will receive certificates which also carry the CIEHF logo.
Practical assessment techniques and the resolution of common issues are a key part of our interactive and hands-on training, building on theory elements including ergonomics, DSE related ill-health, the importance of movement and postural changes, the DSE Regulations and DSE policy. Full details on course content can be found here, with feedback on the training available on our Testimonials page.
Public course fees are £249 per person (VAT not applicable), which includes all course materials, refreshments, lunch, and unlimited future use of our DSE risk assessment documentation, if required.

General Course Information
We normally acknowledge receipt of Booking Forms within two working days, so please contact us by phone or email if you have not heard back within that timescale. We will also send our invoice to the person nominated on your Booking Form. Our payment terms are thirty calendar days from the invoice date, and fees must always be paid in full prior to the course start date. Our training courses are popular, so early booking is recommended - places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please note that while places will be reserved on receipt of a completed Booking Form, they are only guaranteed once full payment is received.
Course joining instructions are sent out to delegates by email two weeks prior to the course date. If these need to be copied to anyone else, or are required at an earlier stage, please let us know.
Changing a Delegate Name
Delegate names can be changed as required - please contact us as soon as possible prior to the course start date. However, if delegates cannot attend or don't arrive for the course you must still pay the full fee.
Course Cancellations and Changes
In rare occasions we may have to cancel courses, change their dates or significantly amend their content because of reasons beyond our control. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible prior to the course start date and offer you either a transfer to another course, or a full refund. Unfortunately we cannot meet any consequential losses.
